Privacy Policy — TimeHunt

This Privacy Policy describes how TimeHunt (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use our mobile game TimeHunt (“the App”). We are committed to being transparent about our data practices.

1. Information We Collect

a) Information You Provide

If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, we receive basic profile information (name and email address) from that provider. Sign-in is entirely optional; the game is fully playable without an account.

b) Automatically Collected Information

We do not directly collect personal data. However, third-party services integrated into the App may collect certain information automatically:

Device identifiers (e.g. Advertising ID)
Approximate location (country/region, derived from IP address)
Gameplay interactions used for ad targeting and analytics
Device information such as OS version and device model

c) Local Storage

Game progress, settings, level data, and daily reward streaks are stored locally on your device using Hive. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

Provide and operate the App
Serve advertisements through Google AdMob
Enable optional account features via Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In
Improve gameplay experience and fix bugs

3. Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

4. Advertising

The App displays ads provided by Google AdMob, including:

Interstitial ads shown between levels
Rewarded ads that grant in-game benefits when viewed

AdMob may use your Advertising ID and other signals to show personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your device settings:

Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
iOS: Settings → Privacy → Apple Advertising → Turn off Personalized Ads

5. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

6. Data Retention

Local game data is stored on your device until you uninstall the App.
Account data (if you sign in) is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction or deletion of your data
Opt out of personalized advertising
Withdraw consent for optional features (e.g. sign-in)

8. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
